  1. There is no seperate pro or am this year. It is a combined class with easier rules to comply with for new guys coming in.

  2. So there is no more Pro-Am or Pro classes?
Can you elaborate on this more? =/

Also, so does everyone need a cage, kill-switch, harnesses etc. now to compete, or attend practices
since there is no more separate divisions??

  3. Talked to Colin earlier about it, there is no more pro-am/ pro. It is one class. You need whatever is required in the rule book they just posted.

  4. Yeah what the fuck, you want to make it easier for new guys to complete so you get rid of am. Now everyone needs cages? And every practice is on a weekday making it impossible for out of town guys to come out? This seems pretty ass backwards

  5. Updated a few things with the rulebook, seat rules are adjusted for those who were asking about it.

As for how the series is working with AM/PRO. The Driftwest Series is a one tier series that all people will need cages etc. Please read the rule-book because all of the rules are quite relaxed so the new driver building a car won’t have to spend crazy money to comply. If you decide a cage isn’t for you we will still be holding Spec-D’s Sunday Fundays throughout the year so you will have a chance to compete as well. Any 2 day events this year will have a Sunday Funday as the second day.

Also, final schedule is coming very soon.
