Yeah except for half the pro guys ran with pro am anyways, if your gonna do that then the pro guys can stay out just like the pro ams have to.
Does your car have to have all the cage and safety stuff that’s in the rule book just to do the practice this year?
No it does not. At Spec-D practices your vehicle needs to pass a basic tech inspection to see if it is at least roadworthy and not leaking an excessive amount of fluids. You also need long pants and a Snell 2005 or equivalent rated helmet.
Cages are required by Driftwest for competition/tandem.
