Eric Belec Coming to visit the Western Drivers

Good afternoon Drivers,
On February 28th from 10:00am to 4:00pm there will be an annual general meeting for DMCC West.

I will apologize now for the short notice on this but it will be worth your time.
If you were a registered driver for DMCC last year or are planning on driving in the PRO category this year you are strongly encouraged attending.

Eric Belec, the president of the DMCC will be in attendance and making a presentation. As well Seth Patterson, Colin Reeves and I will be there to answer any questions and provide some valuable insight into the 2010 season and what you can expect to see. This will include rules and regulations and yes the judging panel and an explanation of the judging process.

We have several things in the works to make this year bigger and better and to help grow the sport and to help out our drivers here in the west.
Lunch will be served during the meeting and there will be a break to do so.

The cost of the lunch is 15.99 per person so I need an RSVP from those who plan to attend.

In interest of being as fair as possible to all of the local drivers the meeting is booked in Red Deer at the Holiday Inn. I am aware that this will require some driving for all of you but I strongly encourage you to attend. Here is the name and address of the hotel, Holiday Inn on 67street, 6500 67 Street, Red Deer, Alberta.

Sorry to all the guys who cannot attend and especially those of you in B.C. If you are able to make it out contact me and I will make sure you get a full copy of the meeting and what went on.

Once again I will encourage you all to attend and apologize for the short notice. We had a good year last year and saw some decent fan support and I believe that with the changes we have in store for this year it will be more exciting for everybody involved.

Come on guys, if we want 2010 to be better than 2009 we need all of you to come out to this meeting. Eric and Seth are coming all the way from Montreal to answer all your questions about 2010. We have lots planned for 2010, so lets get involved.
I'll be there, and I was just a track volunteer from last year.

I would, but unfortunately it's the final day of the Olympics and there is absolutely no way I would get time off on the sports desk with the hockey final being that day.

Unfortunately I have other obligations at this time and will not be able to attend. That being said, is this event to be video recorded? Will there be copy's of the presentation (PowerPoint, booklets, etc.) handed out during this meeting?

I for one would not want to have missed this if only the schedule was released at an earlier date, I would have re-arranged my schedule ahead of time. Dave I understand you may not have had the luxury of doing so, but at least provide this option (or something of that nature, like meeting of minutes) to those in my situation.

this is just for the guys competing in the pro? or what iam just in the am.. possibly pro-am... but iam not sure thinking about coming anyways just for reasons above support and learn more... cant bitch about shit when you dont get involved in it...
